SN Series: Sub-Nanosecond TEM00 3W to 40W

The SN series was developed by Photonics Industries to address the desire to use shorter (i.e., sub ns) pulse width lasers to enable a more precise ablative based material processing. If the pulse width is too long >10 ns the processing is fast, but crude. If the pulse width is too short <10ps the processing is precise, but slow. Combining this with an excellent TEM00 mode quality (M2 <1.5) the SN series offers a unique high intensity (i.e., high brightness) sub ns laser for industrial micro machining apps.

The RG Series diode pumped pico-second lasers produce over 3mJ per pulse at 1kHz and more than 10 Watts at 10kHz at 1064nm with <25ps nominal pulse widths, all while still maintaining TEM00 mode quality in a compact, industrial reliable package. It is the most compact laser with the highest pulse energy in kHz range in the market. Higher power versions (up to 45W @ 1MHz) or pulse energy (5mJ/pulse and 8mJ/pulse @ 1kHz) are also available with added amplifier stages. Harmonic output such as 532nm, 355nm, 266nm, and 213nm can be ordered as needed.

The patented TU series of Ti:Sapphire lasers are nanosecond pulse width lasers that have a tunable wavelength range of 700 to 960nm and 193 to 480nm. They operate at a high repetition rate while providing mJ of energy with a very narrow line width. The TU series combines field proven diode pumped Nd:YAG or Nd:YLF pump lasers with a Ti:Sapphire oscillator to provide a reliable and efficient tunable laser in a complete and compact package. There are two versions of the TU series, the TU-L, which addresses high pulse energy at relatively low repetition rates (single shot to 4kHz) and the TU-H (up to 10kHz) which is for high repetition rate applications.
